Maybe the National Postal Museum wouldn’t be most peoples first stop when visiting DC, but I found some pretty amazing things there.
The Mailster: Called the biggest flop of all time for the USPS.
The Mailster was often blown over in the wind.
The Railway Mail Service: fast-moving mail sorting awesomeness!
Rail mail workers with the USPS mascot Owney.
I’m thinking I could find an old Rail Mail car to live in and a Mailster for driving around town.
That would be the life.

agreed. Ever since reading The Boxcar Children in 4th grade, I have relished the fantasy of someday living in one.
